We came for the shoe painting and discovered robot building too!  So much creativity.  So much fun!  Jackson had completely his own technique for the shoes.  Instead of splatter painting them, he finger painted them.

Jackson took the liberty of getting in the car early while I was still running around the house packing the necessities for the pool bag.  When I got to the car, he was standing in the drivers seat checking out all the gadgetry, and he stated matter-of-factly, "I was just trying to learn how to drive."  Very cute, except I can't get the key to turn now :-I

We discovered a super fun playground at the tampa museum of art.  The only saving grace of this visit because the exhibit was disappointing. 

Caterpillar invasion!!

While walking around downtown this afternoon we came across this mass of caterpillars.  They were repelling down from the oak tree and were covering the wall and sidewalk.  It was pretty impossible to walk through without stepping on a few.  Don't know what kind of caterpillar there are though.  Do you?

Dead fish

Apparently the cold snap we had here in FL was too cold for many of our finned friends.  We went to Maximo Park today and found the beach there littered with dead, smelly fish.  This is a picture of the biggest one we found.
